They named a park after him...

My Grandpa is such an amazing guy, he has always been such a good example to me and my whole family in general. Tonight we were able to attend the meeting where it was announced that they will name a park in his honor... ...whereas, his faithful dedicated service has resulted in countless memories cherished by those children who have now grown into productive and healthy adults as a result of his influence.. (this was part of the proclamation they read)

I just have to say I have so many wonderful memories of my grandpa, and especially remember the days of Grasshopper with my cousins, when he taught us all the sport of Baseball. What an amazing man, I am so proud to call him my grandpa :) We love you!!

Hallo-WEEN!!

We started off the Halloween festivities with Ethan's Halloween parade at school on Friday.. he was so excited...After much debate.. he decided on being Ironman...

Pumpkins, Cookies and Whit--

I love this time of year!! There are so many fun things to do with the kids :) We carved pumpkins the other night and the kids absolutely LOVED it!!

We also made Halloween cookies, the kids loved this also, me not as much ha ha.
Ethan just kept saying "Mom look at our cute Halloween cookies", he loved them. That made the mess totally worth it :) Hazen just loved eating all the M&M's and chocolate chips!!

This was also our last week to spend with Whit for a while. She will be moving to Washington in a few days. We will miss you tons Whit!

Chicken Fried!!

So... I must confess I have a new obsession :) I love the Zac Brown band.. I don't know what it is..the song Chicken Fried just reminds me of growing up at my house... and Whatever it is.. I just feel like he is singing directly to me .. ha ha ok so I have probably been in the house ENTIRELY too long with sick kids, but I do love their music. Something about it just makes you want to get up and boogie ha ha. And I love his voice :)

The main reason for this post however is because one day in the car Chicken Fried came on, and we were jamming out to it and Ethan said "mom isn't it funny that some people call rootbeer, beer for short!!" It was hilarious. He is so cute I had to post it.

Anyway, feel free to turn up your volume and jam out to my new music ha ha

Mack Daddy!!

My little sis played her last high school soccer game tonight :( I am so proud of her and the amazing girl she is. I am slightly biased, but anyone can tell you how awesome she really is:) She truly is an amazing soccer player, and I never once saw her play anything less than that! Ok so these pics are old too, they are from the first of the year, but like I said I am putting them on for my book. These pics are so FUNNY!! The boys were being MODELS!! We can thank Aunt Taiya for these. She was showing the boys all these poses and they were loving it. Maybe they are naturals ha ha. It was hilarious, we were all laughing so HARD!!
